Work Environment\n

The work setting for this role is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in your daily routine while contributing to the mental health of our community. While the bulk of your work can be performed from home, you will also have access to our outpatient office in New Hartford for team meetings and client consultations as needed. The schedule is structured from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, and may occasionally require evening or weekend hours on a rotational basis to accommodate our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms, using standardized tools and structured interviews.

• Work alongside each client to create personalized treatment plans that align with their unique needs, goals, and preferences, ensuring a collaborative approach to mental health care.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions for mood disorders, utilizing methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to promote emotional resilience.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies, empowering them to play an active role in their recovery process.

• Monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure that therapeutic goals are met effectively.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of a Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in New York is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
