Job Overview
Requirement/Must Have:
- 1+ years of previous Mechanical Assembly Experience.
- Experience with Torque wrenches and hand tools.
- Basic Computer Skills with some ERP Systems.
- Strong Soldering skills.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Responsibilities:
- Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units.
- Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
- Works under limited supervision.
- Communicates with contacts typically within and outside the department on matters that involve obtaining or providing information requiring explanation or interpretation to understand and reach agreement.
Nice to Have:
- Aerospace or defense experience is ideal but not critical.
- AMLCD assembly and Display Ruggedization experience.
- AOI & SMT experience.
Skills:
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to follow written and drawn work instructions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Qualification And Education:
- Requires a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
