Make a direct impact supporting students' communication growth in a collaborative educational setting. A part-time contract speech-language pathologist is needed for a maternity leave position at a local high school, working three days per week. What You'll Need:

• Valid SLP licensure with CCC credentials required
• Experience in school-based speech-language therapy strongly preferred
• Comfortable with managing a caseload of up to 46 students
• Strong consultative and direct therapy skills; ability to balance consultation and direct service hours
• Excellent communication, organizational, and record-keeping skills
• Flexibility to participate in shadowing current SLP 1–2 weeks prior to start
• Professional references available at the time of interview

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide both direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to a diverse caseload
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Document student progress and maintain thorough, accurate records in accordance with school and state requirements
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to support each student's goals
• Participate in meetings and contribute as a valued member of the multidisciplinary team

The assignment is set for three days a week: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, beginning mid-October with flexibility to start earlier for training and shadowing. The expected commitment is approximately 20 hours per week, with start and end dates from early October through late December.
