Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant - Hybrid / Norwalk, CT Beacon Hill was founded to set a new standard in search, career placement and flexible staffing. Our client, a growing real estate and property services organization, is seeking a Staff Accountant to support operational accounting and financial reporting activities. This role will focus on financial statement preparation, account reconciliations, month-end close, and reporting for a portfolio of assets and entities. Responsibilities Prepare financial statements and supporting reports Perform account, bank, and balance sheet reconciliations Assist with month-end and year-end close activities Record journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy Support budget tracking and variance analysis Prepare reporting packages for internal and external stakeholders Partner with operations teams to support financial and accounting processes Assist with audits, special projects, and process improvement initiatives Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred 5+ years of accounting experience Experience with Yardi required Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required Experience with budgeting, mortgage accounting, or owner-level accounting is a plus Beacon Hill is an equal opportunity employer and individuals with disabilities and/or protected veterans are encouraged to apply.
