Job Title: Project Coordinator Duration: 6‑Month Contract‑to‑Hire Location: Atlanta, GA ( 5 days onsite ) Required Pay Scale: $48–$50/hr W2 ***Due to client requirements this role is only open to USC or GC candidates*** Job Summary The Project Coordinator supports Project Managers across IT infrastructure and software development initiatives by organizing project documentation, coordinating meetings, tracking action items, and ensuring project information is accurate, complete, and audit‑ready. This role is the operational backbone of the PMO — maintaining project plans, status reports, risks, issues, and dependencies while facilitating communication across technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and leadership. The coordinator ensures smooth project execution across a large enterprise technology portfolio. Project Details This position supports a large enterprise technology organization with multiple concurrent initiatives across various regions. The coordinator will assist PMs with documentation management, project governance, meeting logistics, milestone tracking, and communication across technical and business teams. The team is strengthening its project governance discipline and needs someone with strong organizational skills, documentation accuracy, and the ability to support fast‑moving technical projects. Must Haves 2+ years of Project Coordinator, Project Administrator, or PMO support experience Experience supporting IT infrastructure, network, telecom, data center, or software development projects Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to support multiple concurrent projects in a fast‑paced environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) Experience coordinating meetings, agendas, minutes, and action items Experience maintaining project plans, documentation, and version control Ability to work onsite in Atlanta, 5 days/week Desired Skills Experience supporting large‑scale infrastructure deployments or enterprise technology implementations Familiarity with Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid methodologies Experience with MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, ServiceNow, or similar tools Experience supporting geographically distributed teams PMP, CAPM, or project management certification is a plus Equal Employment Opportunity Matlen Silver is an Equal Opportunity Employer and considers all applicants for all positions without regard to race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, sexual orientation, veteran status, the presence of a non-job-related medical condition or disability, or any other legally protected status.
