Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Calm Body Innovative Fitness & Rehab, you will:

• Direct individualized physical therapy treatment aimed at preventing disabilities, alleviating pain, and restoring optimal function based on each client's specific care plan.
• Oversee the work of Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs), ensuring that treatment plans are executed effectively and adapted as necessary to meet evolving client needs.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' functional abilities, employing diagnostic methods to assess muscle, nerve, and joint capabilities.
• Identify and recommend modifications to clients' home environments to facilitate independence and support rehabilitation efforts.
• Administer and guide clients through therapeutic exercises, including manual therapy techniques, strokes, and application of physical agents.
• Assist in the selection and fitting of prosthetic and orthotic devices while making suggestions for enhancements to optimize client mobility.
• Maintain accurate clinical records, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, to ensure continuity of care and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to explore comprehensive treatment strategies and case evaluations.
• Educate clients and their families on the use of therapy devices and the overall physical therapy process to foster understanding and engagement in the rehabilitation journey.
• Monitor, document, and report on changes in clinical conditions or responses to treatment, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to adjust care plans as needed.
• Assist in the training and supervision of PTAs, ensuring adherence to legal and ethical standards in treatment delivery.
• Complete other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall mission and success of Calm Body Innovative Fitness & Rehab.

Our client population primarily consists of individuals recovering from injuries or surgeries, along with those managing chronic pain or mobility challenges. Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A minimum of one year of relevant experience in a physical therapy role, preferably within a rehabilitation or home care setting.
• A current Physical Therapy license in good standing for the state of Virginia.
• Current CPR certification.
• A deep commitment to patient-centered care and a passion for helping clients achieve their goals.
• Strong interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency in written and verbal communication to ensure effective client and team interactions.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
