Senior Enterprise Sales Executive, New and Existing Accounts- Midwest (MI, OH, PA)

Job Overview Akamai's Enterprise Security Group delivers advanced Zero Trust Security solutions tailored to modern threats. In this high‑growth security sales role, you'll lead the sales strategy for the premium security portfolio across major enterprise accounts in the U.S., positioning core security pillars against next‑generation risks and collaborating with matrixed global teams. Responsibilities Lead the sales strategy for Akamai's premium security portfolio internally and externally across major enterprise accounts in the U.S. Position Akamai's core security pillars against next‑generation risks. Operate within a matrixed global organization to leverage internal security engineers, threat researchers, and executive resources to win complex deals. Deliver expertise in Zero Trust architecture to challenge norms and provide risk‑reduction strategies for C‑level executives. Develop and sustain a qualified, predictable pipeline of new and expansion business across the assigned enterprise territory. Qualifications 8+ years of enterprise technology sales experience, focused on cybersecurity, with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience. Deep understanding of corporate landscapes in MI, OH, and PA, including Financial Services, Energy, Utilities, Public Sector, and Retail. Ability to build networks, secure access, foster trust, and engage enterprise security leadership on emerging AI risk concerns. Sales experience in advanced security architectures, including Micro‑Segmentation, Zero Trust Network Access, Secure Web Gateways, and Secure Enterprise Browsers. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical security capabilities into clear, risk‑mitigating business outcomes. Compensation For U.S. based candidates only, the On Target Earnings (OTE) for this position ranges from $208,600 – $375,400 per year. The OTE is determined by factors including relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and location. The package may also include equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
