About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Finance to join its management team as a key financial strategist. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the annual budgeting process, long-range financial planning, and forecasting, as well as monitoring the organization's financial performance and developing recommendations to enhance financial health and operational efficiency. This role involves preparing and presenting financial reports, forecasts, and analyses to executive leadership, the finance and sustainability committee, and the Board of Directors. The Vice President of Finance will also oversee all accounting operations, ensure compliance with GAAP, maintain strong internal controls, and manage financial operations across a multi-entity organizational structure. Applicants for the Vice President of Finance position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred, and a CPA designation is strongly preferred. A minimum of 10 years' of finance leadership experience, including at least 5 years' in a strategic business partner role, is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in nonprofit financial strategy, grant compliance, and board-level financial reporting, as well as experience in managing finances across multiple legal entities. The role demands a strategic thinker with strong operational execution, extensive knowledge of nonprofit accounting principles, and expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
