Work Environment\n

This position is remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while still being an integral part of our supportive team. With a Monday to Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, you will maintain a work-life balance while contributing to important mental health initiatives. Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individual counseling and crisis intervention for patients, assessing and addressing their emotional and behavioral challenges through established therapeutic techniques.

• Collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare team members to document patient progress, address specific needs, and resolve concerns effectively.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records and progress notes in adherence to departmental policies, ensuring seamless communication among all stakeholders.

• Participate in the formulation of treatment plans, including discharge plans, leveraging psychosocial assessments and accepted social work methodologies.

• Establish and nurture relationships within community resource groups, effectively representing Bedford Healthcare Center at various meetings and committees focused on addressing patients' social needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse population of patients facing a range of mental health issues, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance use disorders. By employing a recovery-oriented approach, you will play a vital role in empowering patients on their journey to recovery and improving overall community health outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• Education: A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is mandatory.

• Licensure: Candidates must hold an independent license, such as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Experience: A minimum of two years of professional experience in a clinical setting is required, underscoring the necessity for skillful practitioners.

Preferred Experience\n

Although not mandatory, additional experience in community mental health, substance abuse treatment, or integrated care models can be advantageous. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is also preferred, as it enhances the efficiency of documenting patient care and progress.

Compensation and Benefits\n
