This full-time position is structured for a Monday to Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a balanced work-life environment. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify emotional and behavioral issues, providing crisis intervention and counseling tailored to each patient's unique needs.

• Document patient progress accurately in clinical records and progress notes, adhering to all departmental policies and standards for confidentiality.

• Collaborate extensively with physicians and other healthcare professionals, providing regular updates on patient conditions, concerns, and therapeutic outcomes.

• Contribute to the development and implementation of treatment plans, including discharge strategies that stem from comprehensive psychosocial assessments.

• Engage actively with community resource groups, representing Bedford Healthcare Center at various meetings and committees to foster collaborative solutions that meet patient social needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse clientele experiencing varying degrees of mental health challenges, ranging from anxiety and depression to substance use disorders. You will be instrumental in helping clients develop coping strategies and achieve meaningful recovery, working in a culturally sensitive manner to meet the unique needs of each patient.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.

• Applicants must hold one of the following independent licenses: Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A minimum of two years of relevant professional experience in a mental health setting is essential.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience with telehealth platforms is preferred, as well as knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities. Familiarity with community resources in the San Jose area will enhance the candidate’s ability to support client needs effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n
