Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed assessments of patients' physical conditions to identify their specific needs and limitations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that leverage effective, evidence-based interventions tailored to each patient's unique rehabilitation goals.
• Utilize a range of therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy techniques, exercise regimens, and modalities supported by current research.
• Implement cost-effective treatment options that prioritize non-surgical interventions and minimize the use of medications.
• Maintain a manageable patient load, providing high-quality, focused care that optimizes therapeutic outcomes.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to enhance recovery efforts.
• Document all patient interactions and treatments accurately using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, specifically Web PT, ensuring compliance and continuity of care.
• Foster a supportive and motivational environment for patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, championing their recovery efforts.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate comprehensive care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on patients recovering from musculoskeletal injuries, surgical rehabilitation, and sports-related conditions. Our diverse clientele includes athletes, active individuals, and those in need of general rehabilitation due to age-related physical challenges. As a Physical Therapist at Baystate Therapeutics, you will have the opportunity to help each of these patients regain their independence and achieve optimal health through tailored rehabilitation strategies.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Current, active Physical Therapist license in Virginia, free from any sanctions or board actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and development of successful exercise programs.
• Strong understanding of various physical therapy modalities, ensuring the provision of high-quality patient care.
• Experience using EMR systems, particularly Web PT, for meticulous documentation and record-keeping.
• Up-to-date knowledge of physical therapy best practices as supported by the latest research and clinical practices.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient clinic setting, specifically in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation.
• Proven track record of creating and executing effective patient care plans that yield positive therapeutic results.
• Exceptional communication skills that facilitate seamless collaboration with healthcare teams and rapport-building with patients.

Compensation and Benefits

Baystate Therapeutics offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
