Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments, including reviewing medical histories, performing physical evaluations, and documenting findings to establish tailored treatment plans for each patient.
• Clearly communicate evaluation results and treatment strategies to patients and their families, actively involving them in goal-setting for optimal recovery.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment protocols based on assessments and patient presentations, utilizing both traditional and innovative therapeutic approaches.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care, recognizing and documenting any changes in patient conditions that may necessitate adjustments to the treatment plan.
• Ensure meticulous discharge planning and follow-up care, while maintaining accurate, timely records reflecting the patients' progress, goals, and treatment history.
• Manage your time efficiently while meeting productivity expectations, participating actively in clinic operations and community outreach initiatives.
• Engage in continued professional development and education—both for yourself and the team—by mentoring students and contributing to the ongoing clinical training efforts.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic predominantly serves a diverse range of patients in need of rehabilitation services due to various physical injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions. The ideal candidate will possess the capability to work with all ages, tailoring rehabilitation programs that promote recovery, mobility, and overall physical wellness. Qualifications

• Completed a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Possession of a valid physical therapist license in the state of Virginia.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of 2 years in a clinical setting is preferred, we welcome applicants at all experience levels who exhibit a strong commitment to providing compassionate care. Prior experience in an outpatient rehabilitation facility would be advantageous but is not strictly required.

Compensation and Benefits
