Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of clients' mental health, with emphasis on the intensity and duration of mood disorder symptoms.

• Collaboratively developing personalized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs, goals, and preferences of each client.

• Implementing evidence-based therapies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to treat clients effectively.

• Educating clients and their families about mood disorders, providing them with necessary resources and self-care strategies.

• Monitoring client progress through regular assessments, ensuring adjustments to treatment plans are made based on their evolving needs.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to promote integrated care for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. You will have the opportunity to create impactful relationships with clients ranging from adolescents to adults, especially those who may be facing additional challenges such as homelessness, trauma from domestic violence, or other societal pressures.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following qualifications:

• A current, active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
