About This Role The Assistant Director of Engineering/Support Services at NYC Health and Hospitals is responsible for providing professional nursing care to patients within the Pediatric Primary Care Clinic. This role is ideal for experienced nursing professionals who are skilled in patient care and interdisciplinary collaboration. Highlights Pay: $112,775/year Location: New York, NY Facility: NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan Department/Unit: PEDIATRIC PRIMARY CARE CLINIC Schedule: Full-Time, Day (8:00 A.M – 4:30 P.M) What You'll Do Provide professional nursing care to patients/clients within an assigned unit. Diagnose and treat responses to actual or potential health problems. Identify and discriminate between physical and psycho-social signs and symptoms. Develop, implement, and continuously evaluate the nursing regimen for assigned patients/clients. Record and maintain nursing care plans and progress notes on patients/clients. Interpret and report responses of patients/clients to appropriate members of the health team. Participate with interdisciplinary health team members to plan a comprehensive patient care program. Provide teaching, guidance, and direction to allied nursing personnel. Participate in defining, implementing, maintaining, and interpreting standards of nursing practice. Maintain professional competence through participation in continuing education. Requirements Experience: Experience as a Staff Nurse preferred. Licenses & Certifications: Valid New York State nursing license required. Additional Compensation Annual education differential based on degree: Bachelors in allied health discipline = $900 Masters in allied health discipline = $1,200 Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) = $1,800 Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) = $2,000 Doctorate in Education, Nursing Practice or PhD in Nursing (DNP) = $2,500 Annual certification differential ranging from $1,878 up to $4,878 for nationally recognized certifications. Annual nursing experience differential ranging from $987 up to $8,190 for up to 10 years of experience.
