Job Summary NetApp is reshaping the corporate and mid‑market landscape through AI adoption, cloud optimization, and the displacement of aging infrastructure. As an Associate Corporate Account Executive , you will be a trusted advisor to corporate and mid‑market customers, driving outcomes and expanding relationships across NetApp’s integrated cloud, data, storage, security, and AI platform. Your work will involve guiding customers through data infrastructure decisions that align with their business objectives and helping to grow NetApp’s business across four focused motions: Hybrid Cloud, Cloud, Keystone, and Cyber. Location Phoenix, Arizona. The role requires travel within the territory to attend customer and partner events. Responsibilities Develop a deep understanding of corporate and mid‑market customers’ strategies, growth priorities, IT modernization goals, and transformation pressures, and connect them to NetApp’s differentiated platform and solution areas. Act as a trusted advisor by combining business acumen, technical curiosity, and solution expertise to guide customers through data infrastructure decisions that align with their business outcomes. Demonstrate a strong hunting mentality by identifying whitespace opportunities in a high‑velocity territory, including VMware displacement, cloud optimization, and workload‑specific expansion across storage, cloud, and cyber. Execute rigorously in a higher‑volume deal environment—maintaining disciplined pipeline management, forecast accuracy, and MEDDICC‑aligned qualification to compress deal cycles and maximize win rates. Lead orchestration of an integrated pursuit team—including Inside Sales Representatives (ISRs), partners, and specialists—to ensure a cohesive customer experience and drive post‑sale handoff to Customer Success with a clear value realization plan. Activate and leverage the partner ecosystem to extend reach, accelerate deal velocity, and jointly pursue significant opportunities in the corporate segment. Qualifications Deep understanding of hybrid cloud architectures, data platforms, and consumption economics; ability to translate technology decisions into business impact for IT, Finance, and line‑of‑business leaders. Results‑driven, resilient, and energized by velocity, thriving in a territory with high deal volume, faster cycles, and the opportunity to build pipeline from scratch. Expertise in identifying and pursuing VMware displacement opportunities, new workload targets, and net‑new buyers in whitespace. Credible, consultative selling skills with the ability to build and pitch value‑based proposals, tailoring discovery, storytelling, and ROI narratives across buying personas. Proficiency in building ROI and TCO models, structuring deal economics, and guiding mid‑market executives through financial decisions with clarity and credibility. Strong communication skills—clear, timely, persona‑driven—facilitating rapid deal advancement. Ability to orchestrate with ISRs, partners, and specialists to cover more ground and win more deals. Balanced focus on in‑quarter deal execution and multi‑quarter territory planning to build a pipeline and inherit momentum. Compensation is based on Total Target Earnings (OTE), including base salary and potential commission.
