Referral Program Coordinator

Processing referrals and scheduling patients, the full-time Referral Program Coordinator will manage internal and external referrals for ambulatory services while working Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Key responsibilities Process internal, incoming, and external referrals for ambulatory services, procedures, and medications Obtain prior authorizations and schedule patients through inbound and outbound phone calls and online communication Communicate effectively with patients to ensure a smooth referral process Required qualifications High School Diploma or GED Two or more years of experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) Certified Medical Assistant preferred Virtual Vocations Inc
