Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Novent Health, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual counseling sessions via secure video calls, focusing on enhancing clients’ mental health and well-being.

• Facilitating discussions around emotions, experiences, and personal history, helping clients gain insights into their feelings and relationships.

• Acting as an advocate for your clients, assisting them in defining clear and achievable goals related to their mental health journey.

• Assessing clients’ mental health status and crafting detailed treatment plans employing evidence-based, solution-focused methodologies derived from your clinical expertise.

• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation for all counseling sessions while adhering to ethical and regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a carefully screened client population consisting of stable adults experiencing low acuity mental health issues. Our unique client-matching system ensures that you are paired with clients that align closely with your specialties and personal preferences. As a result, you will not encounter clients with severe mental health challenges, allowing for a more focused and manageable caseload.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.

• Candidates must hold a full and active state license (either LMFT, LPC, or LCSW) and be in good standing to practice independently without supervision.

• Strong interpersonal skills and a sympathetic nature are essential for effective client interaction.

• Proficiency in computer use and familiarity with telehealth platforms is required.

Preferred Experience\n

Ideal candidates will have experience in various therapeutic modalities and a specific interest in trauma-informed care, cognitive-behavioral therapy, or solution-focused therapy. Prior experience in remote counseling is a significant advantage, given the nature of the position.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $104,000 per year, commensurate with your level of experience and the hours you choose to work. In addition, our benefits package includes:
