Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Tele

Location: Rochester, NY
Contract: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day | 3×12 Hours
Time: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
Hours: 36 Hours/Week

Pay Rate: $35.50/hr - $38.50/hr

Requirements

Active NY RN License
1+ year Med/Surg Tele experience
BLS – AHA
Epic experience required
Phlebotomy and IV insertion competency required
First-time travelers welcome

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care to Med/Surg Tele patients.
Monitor cardiac telemetry, vital signs, and blood glucose.
Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy.
Administer oral, IM, and subcutaneous medications.
Manage Foley catheters, NG tubes, and G-tubes.
Assess and monitor patients and report changes using SBAR.
Administer oxygen therapy and maintain isolation precautions.
Float to other Med/Surg units as needed.
