Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a temporary, part-time Program Assistant for the Professional Science Master's (PSM) Program. This role will provide support to unit management by assisting with the coordination and administration of programs, projects, and/or processes and with the planning, preparation, and control of communications, events, records, statistics, reports, and documents.

Among the key duties of the position are the following:

• Arrange and coordinate logistics and assist with content of events and meetings.
• Assist with the development of processes and evaluation of program effectiveness.
• Assist with the analysis of various administrative documents and program data, create routine informational materials, and aid in promotional areas of marketing support.
• Assist in basic research support activities and serve as liaison within and outside unit.
• Gather and maintain program data; review and validate data accuracy; prepare reports, charts, and visualizations; and assist with analyzing program outcomes and performance metrics.
• Create marketing materials to promote events, attract corporate partners, and improve professional development workshops slide decks.
• Manage activities related to alumni-student mentoring program and alumni engagement.

FLSA - Nonexempt

Salary Details - $22 - $25 per hour

Position Status - Part Time

Working Hours - 19.5 hours per week

Daily Work Shift - Day

Work Arrangement - This position requires a fully on-site work arrangement.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience - Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Certifications/Licenses

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Skilled in Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications - Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. Data analysis and graphic design skills along with familiarity of tools to perform both.
