We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Staff Accountant to join our Finance team. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close processes, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization. Position Summary The Staff Accountant is responsible for supporting the day-to-day accounting operations of the company. This role ensures the accuracy of financial records, assists with month-end close, prepares financial reports, and maintains compliance with accounting policies and procedures. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, comfortable working with financial data and must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities * Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and account reconciliations * Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes * Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation * Reconcile bank statements and other balance sheet accounts * Assist with accounts payable as needed * Support financial reporting and variance analysis * Maintain accurate financial records and documentation * Assist with internal and external audits * Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards * Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls * Other Ad Hoc Projects Qualifications * Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field * 13 years of accounting experience (public or private) preferred * Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Jet Reporting and Adaptive is a plus * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills * Strong communication and teamwork abilities Benefit Offering: * Medical insurance * Dental Insurance * Vision Insurance * Fully Paid STD/LTD Insurance * Fully Paid 2x Basic life Insurance * 401k with excellent company match * Paid Vacation/sick/personal Time pm19 Additional Information * Recruiting City/State Location Westborough, MA Compensation details: 65000-80000 Yearly Salary PI1d4a7deadeb4-29400-40249029
