Candidates must have experience with high-acuity patients and complex interventions. The workload includes administering medication and monitoring vital signs. Responsibilities include care of ventilated patients and management of invasive lines. Candidates should be skilled in arterial line management and fluid administration. Knowledge of infection prevention protocols is necessary. Charting experience with preferred systems is highly regarded. Interdisciplinary collaboration with various healthcare teams is essential. Candidates should be comfortable with a range of patient diagnoses, particularly trauma and surgery. The unit supports advanced procedures and technologies related to critical care. Flexibility to work weekends and call shifts is required. Developing patient care plans and responding to critical changes in health status is vital. Strong communication and teamwork skills will enhance patient outcomes. Two professional references are required, including one from a supervisory role. Travelers should ensure prompt compliance with credentialing requirements.
