Description We are looking for a highly effective administrative professional with a go-getter attitude and a proven track record in supporting senior executives. You will be part of the executive office team and will provide high level support to Verisk’s SVP of Claims Sales. This role requires strong organizational skills to manage calendars and scheduling, domestic and international business travel, meetings, events, and communications. You will be expected to create and update presentations for Verisk’s Board of Directors, senior management and key customers; prepare formal business correspondence; manage communications; and follow up on outstanding items as necessary. You must maintain continuous contact with executive management and senior business leaders globally, and serve as a cultural champion for the Verisk Way. Your presence, character and professionalism will be front-line representation of the organization. This position is based in our Jersey City, NJ office. Responsibilities Manage multiple, ever‑changing calendars of appointments and proactively resolve scheduling conflicts. Plan and execute extensive global and domestic travel, including flights, hotels, ground transportation, visa processing, and detailed itineraries. Maintain all correspondence, ensuring professional, accurate, and timely responses. Reconcile and track expense reports and reimbursements via Concur. Set up and coordinate internal and external events, including venue research, guest speakers, AV needs, catering, etc. Organize and secure highly confidential company files and information. Assist with ad‑hoc reports and other requests, providing backup coverage as needed. Create professional visual presentations for senior management. Answer executive phones, take messages, and handle routine and non‑routine inquiries. Act as liaison with other departments and outside companies, handling confidential information and explaining policies. Initiate and maintain organizational and filing systems. Complete ad‑hoc projects, including research and drafting assignments. Qualifications 5–10 years’ experience in a senior administrative role supporting executives with global responsibilities. College degree strongly desired but not required. Familiarity with a dynamic, fast‑paced global company’s rhythm and processes; ability to adapt procedures as needed. Excellent organizational, problem‑solving, and follow‑up skills, and ability to handle multiple priorities with minimal supervision. Professional demeanor at all times and exemplary representation of the company. Executive presence, maturity, judgment, and sound decision‑making for executive‑level communication and confidentiality. High motivation, integrity, self‑confidence, initiative, and collaboration skills. Prior experience with expense submission, heavy calendar management, and reviewing incoming correspondence; flawless Concur skills especially for global multi‑currency travel are required. Highly proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and other web‑based programs, video conferencing, and scanning. Proficiency in Diligent or similar Board of Directors management software preferred. Effective interpersonal and listening skills, telephone etiquette, superior oral and written communication, proofreading, and attention to detail.
