Assistant Professor (Clinical) Peds Ophthalmology

Assistant Professor (Clinical) Peds Ophthalmology Position for a pediatric ophthalmologist in the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at the University of Utah, John A. Moran Eye Center. Responsible for clinical care at Moran clinics, emphasizing medical and surgical care of pediatric and adult patients. Clinical and/or basic research projects are encouraged. Duties include resident and fellow teaching and training in clinic and operating room. This is a full-time clinical track faculty position in an academic setting. Academic rank and salary are commensurate with experience and credentials. Responsibilities: Provide clinical care for pediatric and adult ophthalmic patients. Perform medical and surgical procedures at Moran clinics. Engage in clinical and basic research projects. Teach and train residents and fellows in clinic and operating room settings. Qualifications: Completed accredited ophthalmology residency. Board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Ophthalmology. Fellowship trained in pediatric ophthalmology. Commitment to full‑time clinical work with potential for research and teaching.
