Sales Director - Skincare Contract Manufacturing

Optify Search are currently partnered with an innovation-driven Personal Care Contract Manufacturer company seeking a Director of Sales.

Responsibilities for this role include (but are not limited to):

\n

\n
• Drive new business development activities, identifying and securing partnerships with skincare and personal care brands.
\n
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of opportunities through proactive outbound prospecting and relationship development.
\n
• Own the sales process from initial outreach through proposal, negotiation, project award, and commercial launch.
\n
• Develop strategic relationships with key stakeholders across Product Development, R&D, Innovation, Marketing, and Executive Leadership teams.
\n
• Leverage existing industry contacts to generate new formulation development opportunities.
\n
• Collaborate closely with internal formulation and technical teams to deliver compelling customer solutions.
\n
• Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to identify new growth opportunities.
\n
• Support commercial discussions, pricing negotiations, and contract agreements to drive revenue growth.
\n
• Maintain accurate sales forecasting and pipeline reporting.
\n

To be considered for the role, the following education, experience and qualifications are required:

\n

\n
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.
\n
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in business development, formulation sales, ingredient sales, or commercial roles within the beauty, skincare, cosmetics, or personal care industries.
\n
• Proven track record of generating new business and converting opportunities into commercial revenue.
\n
• Existing relationships with skincare, beauty, wellness, or personal care brands.
\n
• Strong understanding of the beauty product development lifecycle and commercialization process.
\n
• Highly self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and comfortable operating within a fast-paced growth environment.
