Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations, reviewing patient history and performing specific assessments to determine individual needs and develop an effective treatment plan.

• Communicate assessment findings and treatment strategies to patients and their families, ensuring they are engaged in goal-setting processes to foster successful rehabilitation outcomes.

• Implement treatment protocols effectively, demonstrating proficiency in techniques that address the evolving landscape of patient care while responding to the specific conditions presented by each patient.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive and holistic care by recognizing and documenting any changes in patient conditions that may necessitate adjustments to the treatment plan or referrals.

• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient treatments and progress that illustrates the patient's rehabilitation journey, including initial evaluations, plan of care, progress notes, and discharge evaluations.

• Manage time effectively by adhering to scheduling requirements, participating in community outreach and marketing initiatives, and contributing towards departmental objectives.

• Pursue ongoing professional growth through continuing education and mentoring other staff or students in clinical settings.

• Facilitate a positive patient experience by demonstrating adaptability and responsiveness to their needs while actively participating in initiatives that enhance access to care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Active Physical Therapy, you'll work with a diverse patient population ranging from post-surgical patients to individuals suffering from chronic pain conditions, neurological disorders, sports injuries, and more. This role allows you to employ a variety of therapeutic modalities tailored to fit unique patient conditions, ensuring that every individual receives personalized care aimed at a successful and timely recovery.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

• A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) to transfer relevant knowledge and skills.

• A valid state license as required for practice in Virginia.

• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Experience

• Although prior work experience is not required, we welcome applicants with internships or clinical rotations during their academic training.

• Experience in outpatient rehabilitation settings or familiarity with rehabilitation protocols is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary in the range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
