Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct virtual psychosocial assessments to assess client strengths, needs, and mental health status, ensuring a thorough understanding of their individual circumstances.

• Deliver evidence-based therapy and counseling services to individuals, families, and groups, utilizing approaches that best fit the varied needs of our clients.

• Work collaboratively with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to create an integrated care plan that addresses both mental and physical health needs.

• Advocate for clients’ rights, ensuring they have access to community resources and support services that enhance their quality of life.

• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and outcomes using electronic health records.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will serve primarily include individuals facing advanced illnesses or end-of-life challenges, and their families. You will provide emotional support, crisis intervention, and disease-related counseling, focusing on assisting clients in navigating their health journeys with dignity and respect.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Washington.
\n
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience providing clinical social work services in a healthcare or counseling setting.

• Demonstrated proficiency in conducting diagnostic assessments and formulating treatment plans.
\n
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and rapport-building skills, with an ability to connect with diverse populations.

• A commitment to cultural competence, social justice, and ethical practice in all interactions.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in hospice or palliative care settings, with a deep understanding of the emotional complexities faced by clients and families dealing with the end-of-life process.

• Certification(s) in evidence-based practices such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and others relevant to the field.

• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation purposes.

• Competitive annual salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience and caseload size.
