Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of a full-time remote work arrangement, allowing you to perform your duties from the comfort of your home while serving patients at our Hospice Center. Despite the remote setting, you will remain an integral part of our team, engaging in regular meetings and collaborative sessions with other healthcare professionals to discuss patient care and strategies.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop individualized assessments and care plans, reflecting an understanding of the unique values, beliefs, and concerns of each patient and their family.

• Facilitate therapeutic interventions for various mental health issues including anxiety, depression, and addiction, while providing support for end-of-life challenges and chronic pain management.

• Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to ensure integrated patient care that emphasizes a psychological perspective.

• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, maintaining compliance with state regulations and best practices to support effective treatment delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with patients who are facing terminal illnesses. Your skills will help address not only their mental health needs but also provide supportive counseling to their families, who may be experiencing varying levels of emotional distress. You will be tasked with ensuring that all families feel heard, validated, and supported during times of transition and grief.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field, with a current Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) credential in the state of Washington.

Compensation and Benefits\n
