Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Visitor Assistance in ARLETA, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. DayTimeMon09:00 PM - 05:00 AMSun09:00 PM - 05:00 AMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Monitor access points, check credentials as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, driver, and vehicle activity.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, building interiors, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency services as needed.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
