Operations Manager

The Operations Manager will manage Quanta Exchange’s daily market operations, ensuring the seamless execution of trading activities, compliance with regulatory requirements , and operations team management. This role requires a dynamic leader with a deep understanding of exchange operations, risk management, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities Operational Leadership Manage day-to-day operations of the exchange, including trading,settlement, and market dataprocesses. Collaborate with COO in the developmentand implementation ofoperational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and scalability. Collaborate with technology teams to ensure the reliability and security of trading platforms. Analyze market trends and operational metrics to inform decision-making. Manage operations team execution of daily market data and analysis reports. Collaborate withdevelopment teamtoimplement data analytics and reporting efficiencies Regulatory Compliance Ensure adherence to all applicable regulations, including those set forth by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). Work closely with theCOO andChiefRegulatoryOfficer tomaintainrobust compliance programs and address regulatory inquiries. Stay abreast of regulatory developments and adjust operational strategies accordingly. Coordinate with CRO on any compliance investigations or regulatory requests Collaborate with COO toidentifyand mitigate operational risks through the development of comprehensive risk management frameworks. Execute onbusiness continuity and disaster recoveryplans as implemented by the President and COO. Monitorreal-timemarket activities to detect and respond to unusual trading behaviors. Team Management Help tobuild, lead and mentor operationalteam, promoting a culture of excellence and accountability. Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to achieve organizational goals. Requirements Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred. Minimum of7years of experience in financial services, with at least5years in a senior operational role within an exchange, FCM,trading platform, or trading firm. Proventrack recordof managing complex operations in a regulated environment. Skills and Competencies In-depth knowledge of exchange operations, trading systems, and market structures. Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks governing DCMs. Exceptional leadership and team management abilities. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Attributes Experience with the implementation ofconformance testing and onboarding independent software vendors (ISVs). Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving industry landscape.
