Clinical Nursing Supervisor

Role Overview: The Clinical Nurse Supervisor provides clinical and operational leadership for the Neuroscience Unit, ensuring safe, high-quality, patient-centered care. They support daily staffing, coordinate patient placement, supervise clinical activities, and serve as a resource and mentor for nursing staff. The role involves collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, participating in quality improvement initiatives, and assisting with department budgeting and resource management. Key Responsibilities Coordinate staffing and patient assignments. Supervise daily clinical operations and patient care. Mentor and educate nursing staff, including onboarding and professional development. Collaborate with physicians, patients, and families to ensure optimal care. Support quality, safety, and stroke certification efforts. Respond to patient condition changes and provide direct care when needed. Promote teamwork, accountability, and excellence in patient care. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited Nursing program and current RN license. At least two years of patient care experience. BLS certification required within 30 days. Preferred: supervisory experience, BSN, neuroscience or acute care background. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
