This position is fully remote, enabling our Licensed Clinical Social Worker to provide essential support from a comfortable and adaptable work setting. Key Responsibilities\n

In this role, you will:

• Provide psychotherapy and counseling sessions to individuals, groups, couples, and families, helping them navigate emotional crises and mental health challenges.

• Conduct comprehensive interviews with clients to gather vital social, personal, environmental, and health information, ensuring proper evaluation and treatment.

• Evaluate clients' mental health and emotional well-being, providing tailored treatment plans to address their specific needs.

• Facilitate case discussions for cognitive, affective and behavioral health issues, including short-term crisis resolution and referrals to appropriate community resources.

• Establish and maintain trusting relationships with clients, ensuring a safe environment for open communication and emotional healing.

• Document client interactions and progress in accordance with organizational protocols, maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records.

• Monitor treatment effectiveness and make adjustments as necessary to improve client outcomes and satisfaction.

• Stay informed about new resources and methodologies relevant to your clients' treatment and welfare.

• Occasionally take on additional tasks as assigned by management to support team initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your client focus will primarily engage individuals facing critical health challenges, including those in hospice care settings. You will offer emotional support for patients experiencing grief, loss, depression, or mood disorders. Your efforts will also connect clients with resources for family counseling and support, creating a holistic support system for their loved ones during difficult times.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess the following:

• A master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field of study.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Virginia.
