Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant will be responsible for accurately maintaining financial records, complying with company policies and federal, state, and local regulatory requirements, reconciling bank account statements, balancing ledger reports, and working with the assistant controller to produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports (profit and loss statement, cash flow statement, balance sheet, etc.). In addition, assisting with various other tasks based on business need such as invoicing, budget maintenance, mining and analyzing data for financial reports, etc. Education / Work Experience & Requirements Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance Minimum of one year of accounting experience. Solid knowledge of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, reporting, etc.) Demonstrated analytical abilities to help drive robust financial discussions. Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Advanced Excel skills) and ERP system Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). High performer and problem solver that is a self-starter with personal accountability and follow-through. Travel & Physical Requirements Desk and computer work required.
