Job Details Job Location: Maryville, IL 62062 Position Type: Full Time (80 Hours) Salary Range: $15.25 - $24.00 Hourly Job Shift: Days Job Category: Non-clinical Support Job Summary Responsible for cleaning, assembling and sterilizing all instruments and equipment for all areas of the hospital. Job Responsibilities Responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, assembling and sterilizing all instruments and equipment for all patient care areas of the hospital. Retrieve all supplies and equipment as needed from patient care areas and return to Sterile Processing. Operate cleaning and sterilization equipment in the department according to manufacturers recommendations. Effectively communicates, both written and verbal, with co-workers. Other duties may be assigned by the Sterile Processing Supervisor or the Sterile Processing Manager as necessary to facilitate the functions of the department and hospital. Work hours or shifts may be changed as necessary in order to provide adequate staffing for the department. Qualifications Education Level: High School diploma or equivalent required Certification/Licensure: Certification Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) required within one year of hire.
