Job Title Leasing Director Company Prologis Location Columbia, Maryland Employment Type Full time Salary Range $151,000 - $205,000 A Day in the Life This position will be based in Columbia, Maryland and play a key role on the team, responsible for partnering with assigned listing brokerage teams and taking a proactive approach to leasing and maximizing the value of the Prologis portfolio. This includes a deep understanding of the market dynamics, developing and maintaining relationships with brokers and customers, partnering with in-house property management and construction teams and leading the marketing strategy for Prologis’ Maryland Market which totals over 13 million square feet. Key Responsibilities Demonstrates extensive local market knowledge and strong external relationships with key brokers and the local real estate community, establishing a favorable market presence for Prologis. Proficient in all areas of Leasing with minimal guidance, focusing on maximizing revenues and branding for Prologis. Partners with and assists Market Officer with capital deployment activities. Coordinates construction of customer spaces with project management teams, ensuring smooth transition through interface with architects, engineers, contractors and other consultants. Works with Market leadership to identify, negotiate and execute on acquisition targets and new business initiatives, including sourcing new acquisitions/development opportunities and participating in underwriting and due diligence. Prioritizes performance on Essentials Sales, leasing related data KPIs, customer centricity, innovation & operational excellence, and culture & talent initiatives. Provides direct oversight of support staff to ensure quality work in adherence to company policies and standards. Required Qualifications 7+ Years of experience in asset management, leasing, brokerage, and related business activities involving sourcing, negotiation, and execution of commercial leases/contracts. Current Real Estate sales license in Maryland or ability to obtain one within six months of employment. Strong communication skills, decisiveness, and gravitas with the ability to cultivate partnerships with peers and stakeholders. Drive for results and a proven ability to meet targeted goals and objectives. Strong background in institutional real estate and investments. Extensive transaction experience with a track record of closing deals. Proven experience in analyzing, underwriting, negotiating and closing commercial real estate transactions. PC proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Real Estate or related field. Proficiency with SalesForce CRM and ability to learn company‑specific software. Willingness and capability to leverage emerging technology, automation, and AI tools to improve efficiency, quality, and speed. Experience in property management and real estate development.
