As a Security Officer Patrol Support Desk in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security‑related incidents, and support access control and site awareness through strong communication and customer service. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Thur: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities in a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report suspicious activity, unsecured access points, and/or potential hazards. Monitor access points and help to verify authorized entry, provide directions and assistance to visitors, and support a professional atmosphere throughout the location. Complete routine reports and document incidents, patrol findings, and/or notable activity according to Allied Universal guidelines and location procedures. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age. CPR certification is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
