Security Officer - Overnight Patrol

As an Allied Universal Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related concerns, and support a welcoming environment for staff, patients, and visitors. This unarmed patrol role blends routine rounds, strong communication, and customer service with a caring, reliable team that values agility, innovation, teamwork, and integrity. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership when needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security‑related concerns. Monitor entry and exit points, verify access permissions as directed by site policies, and assist with visitor and vendor screening processes in designated areas. Support a professional environment by assisting with de‑escalation, providing directions and information, and communicating clearly with staff, patients, visitors, and first responders during routine and emergency situations. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred. Have alarm panel experience, preferred. Have a guard card and/or license, preferred.Have access control and/or badge experience, preferred. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
