Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $26.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Mon 03:15 PM - 11:30 PM Sat 07:00 AM - 03:15 PM Sun 07:00 AM - 03:15 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a busy retail location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help deter theft, unauthorized activity, and/or other concerning behavior. Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas for suspicious activity, and/or assist with access control, loss prevention support, and incident documentation. Work with local leadership, team members, and/or first responders when needed to address medical, fire, or other emergency-related situations. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age. Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience or 5+ years of armed security-related experience. Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry‑specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
