As a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Patrol Operations in Atlanta, GA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you. Pay Rate: $19.67 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat07:00 AM - 03:00 PM How This Role Works: Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property management personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues. Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed by site procedures, and maintain awareness of activity at entrances and common areas. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document events according to site-specific procedures. Prepare accurate activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and property representatives. Minimum Requirements: Must have supervisory experience. Must have at least five years of security-related experience. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
