Job Description Job Description Acme Truck Brake & Supply is a truck parts store/warehouse with 2 locations in Illinois. We are a fast moving, fast growing company supplying truck parts and machine shop service to Chicago and its suburbs. We are looking for a full time Accounts Payable Clerk in our Elk Grove Village location. The ideal candidate would meet the following requirements. Responsibilities - · Accurately review, code, and process vendor invoices against packing lists and purchase orders. · Perform monthly reconciliations of vendor statements. · Maintain a large number of vendor accounts while staying in compliance with company policies and procedures. · Perform data entry associated with accounts payable. · Review and reconcile invoice discrepancies. · Address and respond to vendor inquiries. · Ensures credit is received for outstanding memos. · Spreadsheet Updates and analysis · Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential. · Accounts Receivable and Cashier / Receptionist back up. · Filing Skills Required - · meticulous attention to detail and accuracy. · strong organizational and planning skills. · information collection and management skills. · problem identification and resolution skills. · written and verbal communication skills. · ability to multi task. · be able to work as a team. General Requirements - · High School diploma or equivalent required · Must be able to communicate clearly in English · Hours are Mon - Fri 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. 2 Saturdays per month 8:00 am - 12:00 noon. · Must be responsible including - being on time, great attendance, following instructions, great math skills, working as a team member Starting pay for this position is $25.00 per hour.
