Anesthesiology - Physician

The Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Minnesota is seeking Ambulatory and Regional Anesthesiologists to join our growing program in Minneapolis, MN. We seek both new and experienced individuals who are passionate about teaching medical learners and providing quality patient care.

Practice Overview

• Practice alongside more than 60 Anesthesiologists at two ambulatory surgery centers located in Minneapolis and Maple Grove.

• Opportunities to practice critical care, regional, pediatric cardiac, liver transplant, or multispecialty anesthesiology.

• Engage in teaching opportunities with residents and fellows, including regional and acute pain fellows.

Qualifications

• Substantive regional and ambulatory anesthesia experience including healthy pediatric patients

• Graduate of an accredited ACGME Anesthesiology residency and Regional Anesthesiology fellowship training program

• Board certified or eligible with the ABA

• Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure

• Ability to obtain/maintain DEA certification in Minnesota

• Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges

• Ability to work in the United States, with compliance to visa requirements, if applicable

Pay and Benefits:

This role is dually employed by University of Minnesota Physicians and the University of Minnesota. Total salary is market competitive and based on AAMC salary benchmarks. Clinical salary, aligned with clinical effort, is provided through M Physicians. Total annual compensation ranges from $420,000 to $575,000, inclusive of base pay plus expected incentive pay commensurate with experience and qualifications. The salary from the University is dependent upon the academic effort of the person hired.
