Senior Accountant

Senior AccountantJoin a growing accounting team supporting month-end close, financial reporting, compliance, and process improvement initiatives for a large, complex organization. This role offers exposure to technical accounting, operational reporting, cross-functional collaboration, and opportunities to contribute to system enhancements and continuous improvement projects.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly close workpapers.Support month-end close activities and ensure accurate financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP.Analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts and recommend necessary adjustments.Assist with accounting for complex transactions, including revenue recognition, incentives, warranties, debt, and other technical accounting areas.Prepare and review financial and operational reports, providing insights to business partners and leadership.Support general ledger maintenance, process improvements, and system enhancement initiatives.Partner with operations, finance, and FP&A teams to ensure accurate accounting and reporting.Assist with internal and external audits, including preparation of schedules, workpapers, and supporting documentation.Support SOX compliance activities, internal controls, and financial statement disclosures.Research technical accounting matters and prepare supporting analyses and documentation.Participate in special projects, system implementations, and process optimization efforts.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.4+ years of accounting experience in public accounting and/or corporate accounting.Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting principles.Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with ERP/accounting systems.Experience with internal controls, audits, and SOX compliance preferred.CPA and/or public accounting foundation strongly preferred.Experience with SAP, OneStream, or similar financial systems is a plus.Key CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.High attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent organizational and time-management skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on process efficiencies.Ability to work independently while partnering effectively across teams.Ideal for an accountant seeking a blend of financial reporting, technical accounting, process improvement, and cross-functional exposure within a large, growth-oriented organization.Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
