Key Responsibilities

In your role as an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will undertake essential duties which include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations to assess patients' functional abilities through diagnostic tests and movement assessments.
• Formulating and implementing comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs, with the aim of preventing disability and enhancing mobility.
• Administering therapeutic exercises and modalities such as traction and massage, guiding patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals.
• Overseeing and mentoring Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure the effective execution of prescribed therapy interventions.
• Monitoring and documenting patient progress meticulously, reporting changes in condition to physicians and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Engaging with patients and their families to educate them on the rehabilitation process and the use of assistive devices and techniques to support independence.
• Participating actively in interdisciplinary team meetings, contributing insights from patient evaluations and collaborating on holistic care strategies.
• Preparing thorough clinical documentation including evaluations, treatment notes, and discharge summaries in line with regulatory requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals requiring orthopedic rehabilitation. This may include post-surgical patients, those recovering from sports injuries, or individuals managing chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Qualifications

Candidates for the Physical Therapist position must possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid and current Physical Therapist license in good standing in New Jersey.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
