Key Responsibilities\n

The role requires mental health therapists to engage in a variety of essential functions aimed at promoting patient well-being and enhancing therapeutic outcomes. Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients' mental health needs, establishing diagnoses, and determining appropriate treatment plans.

• Providing individual and group therapy sessions, addressing a wide range of mental health issues such as anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, trauma, and more.

• Educating patients and their families about preventive care, effective coping strategies, and healthy lifestyle choices through workshops and informational sessions.

• Collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals—medical practitioners, psychiatric specialists, and social service agencies—to optimize patient care and ensure a holistic approach.

• Maintaining meticulous and accurate patient records to track progress, treatment modifications, and performance metrics for quality improvement initiatives.

• Actively participating in case consultations and team meetings to share insights and refine treatment modalities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clientele includes diverse individuals facing various mental health challenges. As a licensed mental health therapist at Sense of Meaning, you will work with children, adolescents, and adults, customizing your interventions according to their specific psychological and sociocultural contexts. This role requires cultural competence and adaptability to best meet the needs of each unique patient.

Qualifications\n

To be eligible for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A valid and current license to practice as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or have a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
\n
• Demonstrated excellence in communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with clients and colleagues.
\n
• Exhibit a compassionate demeanor, employing an empathetic, non-judgmental approach toward clients.
\n
• Strong organizational and time-management capabilities are critical to managing caseload effectively.
\n
• No history of disciplinary actions within the licensing board.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum qualification of a master’s degree is mandatory, candidates with direct experience in outpatient therapy settings and specialized training in trauma-informed care, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), or other evidence-based practices will be particularly well-suited for this role. Experience working in multidisciplinary teams is a plus.
