The Finish Carpenter specializes in precise trim installation, cabinet fitting, and detailed carpentry work for residential homes, remodeling projects, and new construction. Working within small teams, this role demands strong measurement and layout skills, careful material handling, and the ability to execute complex trim details with minimal supervision. The position offers opportunities for skill development through on-the-job training and advancement into leadership roles.
Responsibilities
- Install trim and fit cabinetry with precision
- Measure and lay out work accurately
- Handle materials efficiently and safely
- Execute complicated trim details independently
- Collaborate effectively within small teams
- Utilize all necessary finish carpentry tools
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in carpentry
- Valid driver’s license
- Skills in woodworking and blueprint reading
- Proficiency in precision measuring and use of hand and power tools
- Knowledge of safety standards
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Effective time management and physical stamina
