Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments and utilize diagnostic tools to understand clients’ needs.

• Deliver individual and family therapy sessions, focusing on issues such as communication breakdown, conflict resolution, and emotional support.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions aimed at improving relational dynamics and enhancing interpersonal skills.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and client progress in compliance with clinical guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse clientele that may include individuals from various cultural backgrounds, ages, and socio-economic statuses, all facing different relational or psychological challenges. Your experience and understanding of DSM diagnoses will be essential in providing effective, tailored therapy sessions that address these unique concerns, thereby positively impacting patient outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited program.

• Two years of professional experience in an outpatient mental health setting, demonstrating a strong foundation in therapeutic practices.

• Current and active license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) that is not under suspension or probation.

• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to create a calming and supportive therapeutic environment for clients from various backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) techniques is preferred but not mandatory.
