Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate clients’ emotional and psychological well-being, using standardized assessment tools.

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that are specifically tailored to meet the unique goals and needs of each client.

• Provide evidence-based therapy interventions, offering individual, family, and group counseling sessions, utilizing approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Maintain detailed, accurate, and confidential client records in accordance with HIPAA regulations and ethical guidelines.

• Offer crisis intervention and support services to clients experiencing acute mental health crises, working effectively in high-pressure situations.

• Collaborate regularly with a network of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure holistic and comprehensive care for each client.

• Engage in ongoing supervision and professional development, contributing to and learning from team discussions to enhance clinical skills.

• Stay abreast of the latest developments in the field of mental health to incorporate new knowledge into practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily serves children and adolescents, providing critical mental health services to help them navigate emotional difficulties and developmental challenges. As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work closely with families, addressing the multidimensional aspects of mental health and fostering a sense of well-being in the community. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

• Current state licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LMHC, LICSW) in Washington.

Preferred Experience\n

A minimum of three years of direct experience in a mental health counseling role is required. Experience working within an outpatient setting is preferred, as is familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems. A background in providing therapy to children and adolescents, as well as experience in family therapy, will be highly desirable.
