Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: St. Louis, MO UB Greensfelder LLP has an opening for a full-time Accounts Payable Specialist as part of the Accounting team to work in the Cincinnati, Cleveland or St. Louis office. The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for reviewing and processing invoices related to firm charges, client advances, and employee reimbursements. The Accounts Payable Specialist is also responsible for scheduling ACH and check payments to vendors, as well as processing all foreign vendor invoice payments. This position involves data entry and requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. This position will also have a high level of interaction with outside vendors, as well as members of the Firm (both inside and outside of the Accounting Department) to resolve any AP issues. Position Responsibilities Responsible for setting up vendor records in Aderant and inputting the correct 1099 classification. Accurately entering invoices into Aderant; manually or through import. Administering the review, approval, export, and import of all Chrome River invoices and expenses. Administering the firm Mastercard program and performing the monthly statement reconciliation through Chrome River. Preparing payment schedules for domestic vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and foreign vendor invoices. Voiding checks when requested, reissuing when necessary. Researching client and/or firm charges as requested, responding to vendor/staff in a timely fashion. Reconciling vendor accounts in the event of a payment misapplication. Reconciling USPTO account on a monthly basis. Other duties as assigned. Qualified Applicants Associate degree or equivalent. Related experience in business, accounting, or finance. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Minimum of two years accounts payable experience. Law firm experience is preferred, but not necessary to apply. Aderant, Elite, and/or Emburse Enterprise (Chrome River) systems experience is preferred, but not necessary to apply.
