Thrive Space Counseling, LLC is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team. This full-time position, based remotely, will allow you to provide individual therapy as well as group therapy to a diverse clientele in Salinas, California. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate client needs and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific goals.
• Facilitate both one-on-one and group therapy sessions, addressing a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges.
• Engage in ongoing collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of health professionals to provide holistic and coordinated care for patients.
• Participate in continuous education and training initiatives to remain current with industry best practices and therapeutic techniques.
• Contribute innovative ideas to enhance service delivery and overall program effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients we serve are individuals facing a multitude of emotional and psychological challenges, ranging from common mental health disorders such as anxiety and depression to more complex issues stemming from trauma and interpersonal relationships. You will have the opportunity to work with diverse populations, which may include children, adolescents, and adults from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, particularly in the vibrant community of Salinas, California.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Possession of an active license in the state of California as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A minimum of three (3) years of relevant clinical experience working with clients facing emotional and psychological challenges.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport and trust with clients quickly.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems for documentation and client management.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement therapeutic interventions effectively.
• Proficient in delivering both individual and group therapy in a remote setting.

Compensation and Benefits

• A competitive salary range of USD 78,000 to 115,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload.
