Key Responsibilities\n

As an LCSW at Renewed Harmony Counseling, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments to understand the mental health needs of students and their families.

• Developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances, grounded in best practices.

• Providing a range of therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), while adapting techniques based on client preferences.

• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and ensuring timely updates of patient records.

• Collaborating with a dedicated team that includes psychiatrists, psychologists, and educators to create a holistic approach to mental health care for students.

• Leading engaging group therapy sessions and facilitating workshops that address common emotional and behavioral issues faced by students.

• Educating students and their families about mental health challenges, available resources, and effective coping strategies to encourage proactive engagement in their treatment.

• Participating in ongoing professional development through regular case consultations and sharing insights with peers to enhance service delivery.

• Managing a diverse caseload to ensure timely follow-ups and achievement of treatment goals for every client.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our LCSWs work with children and adolescents facing a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and trauma. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.

• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in New York State.

Compensation and Benefits\n
