Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate students' mental health needs, challenges, and strengths; develop individualized and culturally responsive treatment plans based on these assessments.

• Provide therapeutic services, including individual, family, and group counseling sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing to address various mental health concerns.

• Collaborate with other mental health professionals, educators, and administrators to develop integrated care plans that support students' educational and social needs.
\n
• Participate in crisis intervention, offering immediate support and safety planning for students experiencing acute distress or emergencies.
\n
• Advocate for students’ rights, ensuring they receive the necessary resources and support, and connect them and their families with community services.

• Engage in outreach initiatives to promote mental health awareness in schools and provide training to educators on recognizing and responding to mental health issues.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• Current active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York State.

• Proven ability to communicate effectively, demonstrating both empathy and problem-solving skills in various situations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
